[ In a slightly alternate version of Thusia, Ahito and Ginko never left - they just continued to live as quietly as possible through the various events that have occurred. Until now. Ginko sits up sharply in the middle of the night, sensing something is off. ]

[ there's something that looks suspiciously like a stray packet of mushi tobacco over here that Ginko hasn't noticed yet. ]

[ As soon as he makes contact with the package, he suddenly finds himself back in a familiar village. And Ginko is next to him, lying asleep on the floor with an injured leg. though he's opening his eyes and looking around. ]

[ he doesn't seem to notice you. there's another kid in the room too - trying to tell Ginko that Ahito's left already. And Ginko sort of accepting it.... until he tastes the water. somehow you can taste it as well - a distinctive sort of sleep medicine. ]

That's ours. How'd they get that?
[ good question. Ginko is more concerned with where Ahito is - and thus it comes out that they've been using him to heal the village. you can feel the horror and rage building in him as he struggles to his feet and out the door. ]
[ You feel compelled to follow along with him. Out across the village, into a particular building... ]
[rushing after him yes--mostly trying to grab and stop him]

[ he doesn't even seem to notice you grabbing his arm. he hurries up and into the other building, where they have Ahito. whatever anger he was feeling before is nothing compared to the rage flowing through him once he sees what they've done. he shouts at the villagers, both out of anger and out of an attempt to make them see reason, to make them let Ahito go-- ]
